Another Great Hit Novel by writer Jack Watson. I await the third book in this trilogy.
I enjoyed reading Jack Watson's "Drone Warrior" and the second installment of the series "Drone Ace". The author is technically knowledgeable, and is convincing describing military process and threat response. I think a little more strife needs to befall the protaganist James Barlow, and I hope for deeper character development in book three.
I'll be looking forward to the third book when Jack publishes it. If you are looking for a techno thriller, this series is a pretty good read and raises
some thought provoking issues regarding the use or misuse of drones.
Drone Ace is a fast paced military techno-thriller in the finest Tom Clancy tradition. It is a timely novel using current, real-world technology and loosely based on an actual aircraft accident. Based on potential real world threats it literally keeps you on the edge of your seat with its fast paced action. The characters are well developed and perform flawlessly without appearing as cartoon characters. I have already read the second installment, and the story continues seamlessly with the same expertise demonstrated in Drone Ace. Highly recommend.
